The Three Little Pigs and the Wolf: Source Once upon a time there lived three little pigs in a neighborhood with three houses made of straw, furze, and bricks. They lived very peacefully until they learned of the big, bad wolf who just moved into their town. The three little pigs decided that until he left, they would stay in their houses and not come out. The evil stepmother from Disney's Cinderella My mother died 10 years ago, and my father got married to the most evil person I have ever met. At first, I was so happy that he would no longer be alone and that he was in love again, but she treats me so poorly. She sent me to get berries in the snow the other day, well aware that there would be no berries in season. On my journey to find berries, I came across a house with relatives I had no idea about. They were so welcoming and caring. They gave me everything I needed and more. I received new clothes, food, and they told me berries would be on top of the roof under the snow. To my surprise, fresh strawberries were under the snow and I was so happy I could bring them to my stepmother. Weirdly enough, my relative told me to spit on the floor. When I did this, I spit out a piece of gold! I thanked my relatives and went back home.  My stepmother was more than surprised when she found me in new clothes, with berries, and with a new gift...

St. Therese of Lisieux: Source For this assignment, I will be doing some research for the second story in my story book. My storybook is in a diary format, and this week I will be working on the diary St. Therese of Lisieux. These sources I have found will be really helpful for me in writing her diary.  Wikipedia   : Wikipedia has so much information about her life, illness, dedication to God and her family.  The Story of a Soul: St. Therese wrote an autobiography of her own when she was alive. It is called "The Story of a Soul" and has additional writings of sayings of hers included in the book. I actually own this book, so I will be looking at this for reference!  The Little Flower:   St. Therese has her own website! It is called littleflower.org. St. Therese loved flowers and saw herself as "the little flower of Jesus" and the name has stuck with her since. 

The Insect King: The Beetle  The ants have tried everything they could to try to escape the anteater. No matter what they did, it seemed to fail. The anteater has been ruining the ants shelter and destroying colonies for as long as the ants can remember. Their many days of hard work and labor would come to an end as soon as the anteater arrived. The ants who live in the trees originally lived on the ground with the other ants, but they thought they would be safer on a higher shelter. Even though they escaped the anteater, they had another enemy, the birds.  The Queen Ant decided to call a meeting in the undergrounds of their ant hill. "I plan on talking to the Insect King at dawn. I will propose an agreement between us and our enemies, so they can leave us alone." I was the only one who was born from an egg, while everyone else had a mother. It did not bother me that much because all of us were a family, but I still would wonder why I was so different. Nightingale: Source It had been raining for a week straight, and the nightingale's babies were in constant distress due to the pouring rain. Their nest was made of wooden sticks, and those sticks kept getting wet and uncomfortable to the baby birds. The nightingale wanted to do something to help her children, so she started to look for more materials to make a cozier nest. This is when the nightingale came across the Rustic's garden and the beautiful rose pedals. The nightingale carefully fled over the Rustic's rose garden and started to take pedals of the roses, one by one. She would do this every single night when she knew the Rustic was asleep and would not find her. On one night where she went again, it started to rain very hard. She could not fly and carry the pedals at the same time, and they fell! Adam and Eve in the Garden: Source Adam was in the Garden of Eden happily and in communion with God. He had everything he needed, food, the river, the fields, the animals, and so much more. The only rule Adam has was to not eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and he obeyed. He was the caretaker of the garden and knew every living creature, but yet one thing was missing.  God wanted to create a companion for Adam of his kind, so he would never be alone and that he would have someone to help him. Out of Adam's rib, God created a woman named Eve. Eve was informed of the one rule of the Garden of Eden. She lived happily with Adam and with God, both naked and not ashamed.  One day Eve passed by the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and the serpent caught Eve's attention. The serpent tempted Eve with a fruit from this tree. The serpent told Eve that she would not die if she ate from it and that she would acquire knowledge and be just like God. Eve took the fru...

There was once a small caterpillar who lived together with three worms in the meadow. Many other insects and small animals also lived among this meadow. The caterpillar lived her whole life feeling left out because it did not look like the other worms. Even though the caterpillar felt this way, she tried its best to have a positive mindset and tried to accept her unique differences. The caterpillar was always taught that because she was different, she would have to choose to "die" one day by forming something called a cocoon when she has served her purpose in life. This purpose was to be selfless and to help anyone that came across her way.
